Xiaomi is expected to launch new laptops in India soon. We could soon see the launch of Mi-branded laptops, according to Twitter tipster Ishan Agarwal. There are already quite a few Xiaomi laptops on the Indian market and now it appears that the brand is planning to expand its portfolio.

Despite not knowing much about the upcoming Mi laptop, the tipster revealed that the company may also launch Redmi-branded laptops later this month. If this is true, then this will be the first Redmi laptop in India. The RedmiBook laptop is currently available for purchase from China.

Xiaomi has not yet announced which models it plans to launch in India. Note that the company has not yet hinted at the launch of the upcoming laptops. Xiaomi India currently offers four models, including the Mi Notebook 14, Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition, Mi Notebook 14 IC, and Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition.

It is possible that the company will unveil refreshed models of the Mi Notebook 14. New laptops are likely to come with the latest Intel 11th-generation processors. Xiaomi recently launched the Mi Notebook Pro X 15, which comes with an 11th-generation Intel CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series GPU.

In February, Redmi announced two new laptops, dubbed RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15. Both devices are powered by Intel’s latest 11th-generation processors. The device has four speakers that support DTS audio. Besides the 720p webcam, the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 comes with an 80Wh battery that is rated at up to 11.5 hours of video playback. In addition, the company offers a 130W USB 2.0 Type-C power adapter that charges the battery 50 percent in 25 minutes, according to the company.

A few months ago, Redmi announced two more models powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 processors. These laptops feature a full-HD display and USB Type-C charging, as well as a fingerprint sensor.
