The World’s 1st Vertical Tech Stack for the Creator Economy
SceneZone is building the world’s first vertical tech stack for the creator economy, uniting artist booking, live entertainment discovery, and interactive content into one powerful, mobile-first ecosystem.
The World’s 1st Vertical Tech Stack for the Creator Economy
In the bustling startup scene of Delhi, a young entrepreneur is making waves in the underserved live entertainment sector. This founder, an alumnus of Delhi Technological University (DTU, Class of 2016), has leveraged his impressive academic background and professional experience to build SceneZone, a mobile-first platform that transforms the way live music is discovered, booked, and experienced in India.
With an All India Rank of 652 in JEE Mains, the founder pursued research stints at prestigious institutions, including Harvard University, University of Luxembourg, University of Victoria, and Dartmouth College. He then launched his first venture, The Learning Key, which he successfully exited by selling to StudyIQ. Following an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad and strategy consulting roles at Healthark Insights and Deloitte, he resigned to pursue his passion, giving birth to SceneZone.
SceneZone: Connecting Artists, Hosts, and Audiences Seamlessly
SceneZone is a three-sided live music marketplace designed for the mobile era, bridging performers, event organizers, and music enthusiasts on one intuitive app.
● For event hosts: Easily discover and book verified bands, DJs, and artists for private parties, corporate gigs, or large events.
● For audiences: Find nearby live music events and secure tickets effortlessly.
● For performers: Gain visibility, secure consistent bookings, and access fair opportunities in a fragmented industry.
The platform addresses core pain points in India's live entertainment space: unreliable artist discovery for hosts, limited gig access for performers, and no centralized hub for audiences to explore local events.
Recently, SceneZone achieved a major milestone by earning the Star Startup Award from Ramaiah Evolute (EvoluteX). Selected from over 500 applicants and shortlisted among 22, SceneZone is now incubated under this prestigious program, highlighting its potential to organize and scale the artist economy.
Unscene: Pioneering Audience-Driven Micro-Drama Series
Complementing the marketplace is Unscene, billed as India's first audience-driven non-linear micro-drama series. Launched on the SceneZone app, Instagram, and YouTube, this interactive format lets viewers vote on plot directions after each episode - offering 2-3 choices for 24 hours to shape the next installment.
Centered on five characters (including three male leads), Unscene delves into the raw emotional journeys of artists chasing their dreams. Sponsored by major brands, Season 1 garnered 1.2 million views and went viral, reinforcing SceneZone's mission to support artists and foster creative communities. Season 2 is in the works, promising even more engagement.
The SceneZone team also shone in The Viral Fever (TVF) Shorts League, reaching the top 80 out of over 1,000 applicants nationwide.
A Unified Vision for the Artist Economy
What sets SceneZone apart from competitors like Live101, Tickify, and Vibestudio is its integrated ecosystem. It combines a transactional talent marketplace with a content engine (Unscene), creating a "shared wallet" for bookings and merchandise. Described as the "LinkedIn of Talent with the transactional speed of Uber", the platform captures the full artist lifecycle, from discovery and popularity growth to AI-driven commerce.
The business model focuses on building a vertical tech stack for the creator economy, featuring:
● SceneZone is a "Global Talent Ledger" for verified artist bookings.
● Unscene is a dopamine-fueled content platform with AI playback and interactive features.
Looking ahead, the vision is ambitious: to create the world's
first Entertainment Operating System, a frictionless "Windows of
media" where artists are discovered, immortalized, and monetized
globally.
As the founder shares: "To achieve true impact, new age
companies should focus on doing things that don't scale." By organizing artist hiring and building an "OS"
for live entertainment, SceneZone aims to inspire a thriving community of
artists and fans alike.
With a focus on artist booking, entertainment technology, audience-driven filmmaking, and an artist community that defines its space, SceneZone is poised to redefine India's live music and content landscape.
