Automaker dispatched 40,496 vehicles to its dealerships last month, up from 25,001 units in May this year.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) reported total sales of 54,474 units in June, up 77 percent from 30,703 units in May, following disruptions caused by the second wave of COVID-19.
In May this year, the automaker dispatched 25,001 units to its dealerships, as opposed to 40,496 last month.
A rise in exports of 13,978 units was reported in June compared with 5,702 in May.
In light of global markets opening up and improving customer sentiments, HMIL is committed to providing world-class products and services that meet and exceed the expectations of customers,” said HMIL Director (Sales, Marketing & Service) Tarun Garg.
The new model Alcazar has been receiving tremendous customer reception, setting some new standards in the industry, he added.
